Project Overview

I wrote a report to the web designers of a restaurant for my Usability and UX class. The goal of the report was to demonstrate how to improve the website’s usability based on qualitative data.

To create greater usability for restaurant websites, I created a survey using Qualtrics to generate data about who the target user was. I used the data to create a persona, producing a structured view of the target user.

Website designers would have an easier time understanding how to redesign the website if they knew who they were redesigning it for.

I created a journey map to show the typical path a user would take when completing a task, starting with exposure and ending with reflection.

Breaking down data visually for website designers created greater impact about the issues and the urgency to fix them.
